CAMERA INDEX

Kodak six-20 Brownie model E
This is one of two box cameras that i own. The other, the Ensign Ful-Vue, has a very distinct look while this one is more standard box camera-fare. I got this camera very cheap in an online auction and i did so before i got my present principles. My principles now state that every camera i buy should be in working condition without needing any discontinued products to work. As some of you might already have guessed this camera uses 620-film which is not available any more. Of course, there are ways of respooling 120-film on to 620-rolls and using the camera that way. But honestly that has so far been a bit more hassle than i have been prepared to take.

The camera itself is very compact and quite light. Of course it's a very simple design and the lack of internal components makes for a simple, efficient and light camera. I haven't actually used mine with film but i have opened it and everything seems to be in working order. The shutter fires, the film transport works and as far as i can see the housing seems to be in good order. I have seen photos from this camera on the web and aside from it's limitations it is capable of decent photos.
