Camera collection

I started my photography-career with a Minolta SLR back in 1998, a graduation present that sparked my interest in photography. Since then i have had a few digital cameras, finally settling on a Sony A-350 DSLR for my digital needs. Aside from my digital camera i have a growing collection of analog cameras. Mostly i collect vintage cameras because i enjoy them, but i also try to use most of them. I also have a few more modern analog cameras.

Below is a summary of my collection. Click on the links to see some info about every camera.

Wish list
Being a collector is troublesome, it's just impossible to be satisfied. I haven't really had a plan with my collection, i have just bought the things i've stumbled upon or things that just caught my eye. I guess a more structured approach would have been preferrable if my collection is to be worth any money. But then again i want to collect cameras that work and that i can use without being afraid of breaking something expensive. Still, there are a few more valuable items that i would like to add to my collection, and some less valuable cameras as well. Here is my current wish-list in no particular order:
  • A Mamiya exchangable lens TLR, for instance the Mamiya C330.
  • A Mamiya medium format Rangefinder, either the Mamiya 6 or Mamiya 7.
  • The Hasselblad Xpan or Xpan2 panorama rangefinders.
  • An M-series Leica. Anything from M3 and up would be nice, but preferrably the metered and fairly modern Leica M6
  • A russian Horizon panoramic camera with sweeping lens.
  • The modern and beautiful Zeiss Ikon rangefinder which would be an alternative to Leica.
