Canon A35F
I bought this camera on a whim from an auction site on the web. It cost me almost nothing and i had heard good things about the 40mm lens on this camera. And the lens is good, very sharp. But to be honest the lens is one of preciously few things i like about this camera. It is completely automatic except for the focusing. The shutter has a very narrow range of only 1/60 to 1/320 and if the camera is unable to set a shutter speed within this range it locks the shutter. It does the same thing if you don't have a battery in the camera, so if your battery runs out you are out of luck. This camera is mostly famous for being one of the last compact fix-lens manual focus rangefinders. It was superseded by the Canon AF35M which had autofocus.

I have shot two rolls of film with this camera so far. Build quality is good and the camera looks very nice. It's fairly compact and light-weight. Handling is very easy, just pop the roll of film in, set the film speed and you're ready to go. Just point the camera, focus using the range finder and click. For me using this camera has been quite frustrating. I am used to manual cameras nowadays and a camera that even refuses to take photos in poor light is a very bad experience. But of course, as long as you shoot in daylight it works fine and it exposes without a problem. It has a built-in flash (and no connector for external flash units), but i haven't tried it. Since you can't set the shutter speed you can't take photos indoors without flash...
